1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Cognita Wellbeing, including the mobile application, website, and related account and support features. Cognita is an AI-assisted wellbeing experience and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or emergency care.

2. Information we may process

Depending on how you use Cognita, we may process account and profile data; content you choose to share when interacting with Cognita or requesting support; experience preferences such as audio, video, and captions; subscription and purchase-status information needed to administer access; and technical and usage information needed for security, diagnostics, and service operation.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain Cognita, authenticate accounts, deliver requested experiences and conversations, retain your preferences, provide support, administer subscriptions, and improve service security and reliability.

4. Conversations and AI features

When you use conversational features, content you submit may be processed by AI systems and technology providers needed to generate the response and operate the feature. Avoid including information that is not necessary to receive the experience you request.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We may use providers that help us operate infrastructure, communications, payments, support, security, and AI features. Access is limited to what is needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Payments may be processed by external payment platforms. Cognita does not need to store your full card details to provide the service. Transaction and subscription information that is necessary may be retained to administer access, billing, and support.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet applicable obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards; no system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, or portability. You may also manage certain preferences from the app. Requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

9. Children

Cognita is not intended for children to use contrary to applicable age and consent requirements. If you believe a child's personal information has been provided improperly, contact us.

10. International processing

Providers that make Cognita possible may operate in different countries. Where applicable, we use appropriate mechanisms to protect personal information in international transfers.

11. Changes to this policy
